Rainforestation turns 40 this year, so we thought it was a good time to reflect on what happened in 1976 - our birth year!
  • Australia's population was approx. 14.03 million (compared to approx. 24 million in 2016)
  • The Apple Computer Company was formed by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak - back then, no one knew who they were ... just think how much Apple is ingrained in our lives now
  • Benedict Cumberbatch, Ryan Reynolds, Isla Fisher and Colin Farrell were all born
  • Agatha Christie died
  • The inkjet printer was invented
  • The biggest pop artists included Barry Manilow, The Bee Gees, Diana Ross, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Olivia Newton-John, Queen, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder
