Koala & Wildlife Park

Rainforestation Nature Park

Get up close and personal with our wildlife

Experience the fascinating world of Australian wildlife at the Koala and Wildlife Park. This unique attraction offers visitors the opportunity to connect with the diverse animals that call Australia home.

Stroll through our Wildlife Park at your own pace, following a series of elevated boardwalks that provide unobstructed views of various Australian animals and reptiles. Immerse yourself in the natural surroundings as you observe the captivating wildlife in their habitats.

Get up close and personal with our friendly kangaroos and wallabies in the landscaped gardens, where you can even hand-feed these gentle creatures. Marvel at the sight of the endangered cassowary and the rare Lumholtz's Tree Kangaroo, both of which are special highlights of our park.

Encounter Australian Wildlife

Venture into our wildlife park and hand feed the free roaming kangaroos and local species of wallabies in the landscaped gardens. You can observe the endangered Southern Cassowary and Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo in their purpose-built habitats and see the only Tasmanian Devils in North Queensland. Sneak a peek at Juliet our adorable wombat and meet Ned and Kelly the incredible Alpine Dingoes. We are also home to a range of pythons, lizards, monitors, turtles, and crocodilians.

Glimpse the iconic Northern Koala up close and learn all about the rescue and breeding programmes we are involved in as well as their very specific feeding needs and threats to their survival in the wild. Book with us for an exclusive behind the scenes experience to get even closer and learn more about how you can help them.

The star attraction of our Wildlife Park is Jack, a 5-metre (17 ft) Estuarine Crocodile weighing in at a whopping 600-700kg (1450 lbs). Being the largest reptile species in the world means Jack is kept in his own enclosure with an elevated platform perfect for your safe and close-up viewing. His neighbour Agro is slightly smaller, but we think he’s the better athlete. Learn about these astounding apex predators and watch their hunting behaviours firsthand during the croc feeding show.
