Experience the fascinating world of Australian wildlife at the Koala and Wildlife Park. This unique attraction offers visitors the opportunity to connect with the diverse animals that call Australia home.
Stroll through our Wildlife Park at your own pace, following a series of elevated boardwalks that provide unobstructed views of various Australian animals and reptiles. Immerse yourself in the natural surroundings as you observe the captivating wildlife in their habitats.
Get up close and personal with our friendly kangaroos and wallabies in the landscaped gardens, where you can even hand-feed these gentle creatures. Marvel at the sight of the endangered cassowary and the rare Lumholtz's Tree Kangaroo, both of which are special highlights of our park.
Encounter Australian Wildlife
Hand feed the free roaming kangaroos and wallabies in the landscaped gardens, observe the endangered cassowary and Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo and see Neville and Dennis, the only Tasmanian Devils in Cairns! Sneak a peek at Juliet our sneaky wombat and meet Ned and Kelly the Alpine Dingoes. Enter our reptile house and see a range of pythons and lizards and see the iconic Australian koala.
The star attraction of our Wildlife Park is Jack the Ripper, a 5 metre saltwater crocodile weighing at 650kg with a reputation of killing 12 of his girlfriends in times gone by. Jack is kept in his own enclosure with an elevated platform perfect for your safe and close-up viewing.
On the other side of Jack is our fresh water enclosure where a bask of juvenile crocodiles, turtles and lizards sun themselves and casually swim around.

Wildlife Presentations
Time your visit to enjoy a variety of Wildlife Presentations that are delivered throughout the day, including Crocodile Feeding, Dingo Enrichment and Feeding the Macropods. Remember that Wildlife Park Entry includes multiple re-entry on the day of your visit – so come back as many times as you like.
