COVID Safe Plan
Rainforestation has implemented a COVIDSafe Plan to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers. The number of daily visitors will be limited, and social distancing guidelines will be strictly enforced.
Hygiene and sanitising stations are available throughout our park and signage is displayed to ensure social distancing practices are followed.
COVID Customer Questionnaire
Guests will be requested to scan a QR code on arrival to register their visit and show the green tick to staff when checking in for contact tracing purposes.
For entry, guests must be able to meet the below conditions of entry:
Conditions of Entry
By accepting the below, I acknowledge and confirm that I/We;
1. Do not have any COVID symptoms, which include:
c. Dry Couch
d. Sore Throat
e. Difficulty Breathing
2. Have not travelled to a known hot spot within the past 14 days or since it has been declared as a known hot spot;
3. Confirm that I/We have followed the direction of the Queensland Government Department of Health in relation to current Health Alerts.
The information obtained through the QR code is recorded as per Queensland Government directives and will NOT be used for any other means and will never be shared with any third party. The information will be stored within a secure encrypted file for 56 days and then destroyed.
Rainforestation Nature Park reserves the right to refuse entry under this direction if the QR code questionnaire is not completed, or if a customer has recently travelled to a known hot spot within the past 14 days or since it has been declared as a hot spot, or is experiencing symptoms of COVID19.
If entry is refused due to COVID19 requirements, a full refund of your booking will be provided.
COVID CLEAN Practicing Business
Rainforestation is accredited through the Quality Tourism Framework as a COVID CLEAN Practicing Business. The accreditation ensures that we are undertaking daily, weekly, monthly and annual cleaning requirements in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Rainforestation encourages staff and customers to download the COVIDSafe app. This helps us to support and protect you, your friends and family. The COVID app speeds up contacting people who have been exposed to Coronavirus (COVDI19).
